NOW, here is the rub.GREED! My wife and I have been going to Cherokee since they STARTED the casino in a metal roofed shed. in addition, if you become a Diamond player, yo get perks like a free valet parking, a free room (if they haven't filled their quota.they always save a few vacant rooms), and a Diamond lounge so you can take a break from gambling and get a snack and/or drink, etc. One Reward credit equals $.01 so if you play $75,000in a year, you get $150 to spend on their buffet, for instance which costs on average $30 each. You also get one (1) reward credit that you can spend like cash in the casino.
SO, to achieve Diamond status you need to play $75,000 in one year. One (1) tier credit requires $5 played in a machine. For 15,000 tier credits you can become a Diamond player. Getting a player card allows you to build up comp credits you can spend for buffets, gift shops, etc. If you live in the area and want to visit more often, don't be suckered into achieving a 'player status' for loyalty based on how much you play.
IF you go there, be prepared and take LOTS of money you can or want to give away! It's a great place to visit if you've never been to a casino.
